Leon County Environmental Management Permitting Detailed Checklist

LANDSCAPE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - Section 10-4.205, Minimum information required in landscape plans.

  1. Location a general location map of the site, a legal description, and proof of ownership.
  2. Zoning and Land Use:
    1. Zoning of the site and zoning restrictions affecting site use and development, including PUD or DRI conditions.
    2. Adjacent land use and zoning.
  3. Land Use Specifications:
    1. Landscape area as a percentage of total site area with identification of those areas on the plan.
    2. Natural area as a percentage of total site area; and
    3. Natural area claimed for landscape credit as a percentage of total site area and identified on plans.
    4. Credit claimed for preserved trees with supporting information.
    5. Reforestation schedule.
    6. Habitat areas where endangered, threatened or special concerned species are identified and a mitigation plan proposed to eliminate project impact.
    7. Number of parking spaces required.
    8. Square footage of vehicular use areas.
    9. Species, size, quantity, and location of trees, shrubs and landscape materials.
    10. Claimed credit for preserved trees supporting information.
  4. Landscape Specifications
    1. Plant Schedule including species, size and quantity of landscape materials.
    2. Maintenance Schedule:
      1. Specifications for on-site supervisor responsible for installation and maintenance.
      2. Detailed vegetation and landscaping maintenance plans regarding pruning, fertilization, water requirements and pest management for long term management.
    3. Irrigation Schedule
