Boundary Settlement

A Boundary Settlement is a conveyance of property between adjoining property owners and is allowed when:

  • The purpose of the conveyance is to adjust or settle the common boundary line.

  • The purpose is stated in the legal instrument of conveyance and is recorded in the public records of the county.

  • The resulting parcels lawfully allow the construction of at least one single-family dwelling unit on each parcel (i.e. meets setbacks, minimum frontage, etc.)
