Creation of Equal or Larger Parcels

Creation of Equal or Larger Parcels provides for a division or redivision of a lot. It may be allowed when:

• The lot or lots are in a previously platted or unrecorded subdivision.

• A legal instrument of conveyance is recorded in the public records of the County.

• The sole purpose of such subdivision or redivision is to create new parcels which are at least equal in size to the existing lot or lots. For example, three adjoining, platted 50-foot lots could be replaced by two 75-foot lots or by one 70-foot lot and one 80-foot lot.
